Top 40 — September 27
Artists must prepare a 90-second cut of their strongest age-appropriate and content-appropriate song.
Group 1 Arrives at 10:45 AM
Sound Check: 11 AM - 12 PM
Group 1 family doors to Robin Leach: 12 PM;
Renkus Heinz Theater Doors: 12:15 PM
Group 1 Showtime: 12:30 – 2:30 PM.
Group 2 Arrives at 2:30 PM
Sound Check: 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM
Group 2 family doors to Robin Leach: 3:45 PM;
Renkus Heinz Theater Doors: 4 PM
Group 2 Showtime: 4:15 - 6:15 PM.
Top 25 — October 18
Artists must prepare a 90-second cut of a Broadway or Disney song.
Artists Arrive at 12 PM
Sound Check: 12 PM - 2 PM
Doors to Robin Leach: 2 PM;
Renkus Heinz Theater Doors: 2:15 PM
Group 1 Showtime: 2:30 – 5 PM.
Top 15 — November 8
Artists must prepare two 90-second cuts: one pop/rock song and one “Your Hero” song. The “Your Hero” selection should come from an artist the performer admires or a role the performer would like to play.
Artists Arrive at 11 AM
Sound Check: 11 AM - 12 PM
Doors to Robin Leach: 12 PM;
Renkus Heinz Theater Doors: 12:15 PM
Showtime: 12:30 – 2 PM.
Wildcard — November 10
Wildcard artists may be selected from artists who reached the Top 25 or later. Guides will consider cumulative growth and the artist’s overall GLV journey. This gives a deserving artist another opportunity when illness, nerves or one unusually difficult performance may not have reflected their true progress.
Participation is by personal invitation from the Guides only.
Invited artists receive a private 10-minute appointment between 4:00 and 7:00 PM.
Families may not attend the Wildcard appointment.
Artists may perform 90 seconds of their strongest song.
No MP3 submission is required; staff will pull up the artist’s YouTube link in the audition room.
Finale — December 6
Artists must prepare two two-minute cuts: one song demonstrating their unique style and one Guide’s Choice selection.
The pre-show takes place in Robin Leach, followed by the Finale in Renkus Heinz.
Artists Arrive at 1 PM
Sound Check: 1 PM - 4 PM

Myron’s Top 10 Showcase — February 28, 2027
The overall winner receives a three-song showcase with a live band at Myron’s
The first, second and third runners-up each receive a two-song performance.
The remaining six Top 10 artists each receive a one-song performance.
Arrival, sound-check, doors and show times will be announced closer to the date.
